I just got an email from the staff editor of the “Community” section of the newspaper. He just informed me that although I have been published online (http://www.naplesnews.com/news/2009/sep/22/your-world-joy-shooting-weddings/?print=1), the printed article has been put on hold and will be printed on Tuesday, front page of the section. He told me that because of the tragic Naples murders that happened this week, they wanted to feature a domestic violence survivor on the cover. I am not going to argue since I do agree. So my faithful readers and fans, you will have to wait till Tuesday to pick up your copy of the Newspaper and enjoy my autobiography.

Well thanks to a very happy client of mine, The prestigious Fort Myers News Press is pushing to place me as a featured story on the cover of the Lifestyles section of the paper. They love my photos and are happy to have a local who is an internationally award winning wedding photographer. I was contacted today for a quote for the paper and was told that we should see it this Monday! We are so very happy with how well the business is doing and how many families we are touching with wonderful images.

Thank you to all of my brides as well who have sent their photos into The Knot: Real Weddings. One has since been placed online in Georgia and we are in hopes that more are to come…maybe even perhaps published in the actual magazine.

William and Aura are getting married this October! YEAH! We had a few laughs during our session even though it felt like we were in arm’s length of the sun. haha. I cannot wait for October 10th!! Congrats William and Aura!

Jenn and Patrick actually met at their high school reunion. It was a story that every girl wishes they can tell to their kids and fellow peers. Soon after tying the knot and having a gorgeous little boy, they decided to renew their vowels with a bang! Although it did start to rain during the ceremony, we still got great shots as well as beautiful portraits which were done in the lobby of the Hilton Bayfront Hotel in St. Pete.
