Wedding @ Ritz Carlton of Naples

It was an honor to be chosen as the wedding photographer for such a special and intimate destination wedding held at the Ritz in Naples. Here are some of my favorites:

This was the private dining area at the Ritz they had reserved. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It had a very intimate, classic setting. Perfect for the two newlyweds and their closest family and friends.

Save the Dates!

All of our “Save the Date” cards, magnets, and any other designed materials are done in house. Here is a sample design done for one of our November brides. She wanted something simple and not too over the top:

Brianna & Jason! Naples Pier

So Brianna wanted something different for her save the date cards. We originally were going to do this funny, water up to your nose, looking at each other crazy..type of look. I was so excited….however mother nature had a different plan for us. Every time we tried the shot, a ginormous wave would crash into Jason and Brianna, knocking them down. So what was supposed to be literally a quick five minute session, turned into a half hour attempt at getting this shot. We finally decided to do a couple of other ideas and here are the two that turned out to be my favorite. I think these would look great as save the date magnets. ;)

All in all we had a blast and I ended up getting sopping wet as well from the waist down. =) But I did have a blast doing it as I always do! It is fun to have a couple that are willing to dunk themselves into warm salty water for a good shot. haha.

Naples Wedding Photographer

Photographing a wedding for the first time at Naples Botanical Gardens was a thrill! It was absolutely gorgeous there and Jen and Chris were just there with me last year to do their engagement session. Jen made for a beautiful bride and there were a few times during the reception where I caught myself laughing way too hard. Here are some of my favorites:

Details:

Wedding Dress: Oleg Cassini Collection

DJ: Soundz of Music DJ (Scott Peterson)

Videographer: Reel Treasures

Florist: Driftwood Garden Center & Florist

Cake Designer:  Mikkelsen’s Pastry Shop

Makeup: David Frohmberg

Hair: Daniel Glemser

Time was definitely not on our side for this engagement session. We had two locations, traffic, and a sun that was going to set no matter what. I think we pulled it off…we even shot some after sunset pictures! We had a blast!! Can’t wait to photograph the wedding soon!!

I was actually going to throw the below image away, however there was something about the look of the picture that enticed me to keep it. I don’t know what it is…maybe the mystery behind the image or the pretty blue hues. Love it.

The below image was actually shot twenty minutes AFTER sunset!! I had to use the light from my IPhone to find Becky and O’Neil!! HAHA
