2010 Bride’s Choice Award!

Posted on February 1, 2010

It is official as of February 1st, 2010! We have been awarded Bride’s Choice 2010!! We are now in the top 5% of wedding vendors in the NATION! We are so ecstatic for this award! Thank you to all of our brides who were and still are madly in love with us!

The fact is we live in Florida where it rains off and on without notice. We even have rain without a cloud in the sky…seriously…I have witnessed it. So what to do if forecast calls for rain on YOUR wedding day:

1. Ask your venue if there are alternative sites for the ceremony for a “just in case”scenario.

2. Either talk to your photographer or scout out your venue yourself for alternative locations indoors for portraits.

3. Having a beach ceremony? Make sure you have someone bring towels to dry off the seats just in case it showers before the “I Do’s”.

4. Have fun with it! You can’t change the fact that it will rain, it is out of your hands. Buy a pair of fabulous rain boots in a bold eye popping color with a matching umbrella and go at it! What AWESOME photos you will have with your new hubby  and don’t forget to include the bridal party too if you like! I can say I would have a BLAST photographing red rainboots with a bold red umbrella! Original, Florida Style, Fun….

If your day comes and storm clouds unexpectedly roll in….DON’T PANIC…DON’T STRESS! One fabulous thing about Florida weather, our rain comes in waves. Meaning you will have ten minutes of thunderstorms and then thirty minutes of sunny sky.

Hope this helps calm some of your fears about your Summer wedding here in Florida! If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to comment or email me. Thanks!

I am in absolute love with the new addition to the Naples Botannical Garden. We were able to run free through the gardens with the aide of Tim, our Botannical Garden Guide! haha. We got some fabulous photos and were able to even do a quick walk through for Chris’s and Jen’s wedding day! Cannot wait to photograph their wedding this May!
